Between the Covers on Summer Vacation!

We’re lying in the sun reading smut.

And preparing for an awesome back-to-school/Labor Day celebration in September (we may even have an international visiting erotica star), so keep your eyes peeled.

In the meantime, read!

See you in September.

Between the Covers Goes to TESFest!

There will be no downtown reading of Between the Covers this month because we have found that people would rather party with loved ones on the 4th of July rather than hear smut (we are shocked!).

But the show must go on!

So Between the Covers will go to TESFest, the annual gathering of sex positive kinksters from New York held in New Jersey.

The event is not-quite-open to the public, as you have to be a registered guest to attend, but if you are there, please come hear our smut.

Join us for a Midnight reading and performance by some of your TESFest writers.

Undergroundsea will return to Between the Covers with his femdom comedy stylings which were well-received at Geeky KInk in 2013. We can only hope that we may again be graced with his hot leather pants!

Cassandra Park will read new stories.

Pleasure Salon co-founder Selina Fire will share some pages from the lusty tales of her autobiography (30 years in the making).

Graydancer will read from a hot rope bondage story.

And maybe a few more surprise readers!

50 Shades of Between the Covers – Two EXTRA Between the Covers Events 6/19 & 6/22 to Discuss Publication of Grey

Riverdale Avenue Books will host two special events in its Between the Covers erotic romance reading series for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey to come together in New York City to discuss the publication of Grey, the new novel in the international best-selling series. Grey, the fourth novel in James’ best-selling erotic romance series, will be published on June 18th, and will be the story of this kinky romance as told through the eyes of the male protagonist, Christian Grey. Pre-orders for the novel already exceed a million copies. “Every women who read the trilogy is going to be reading this book at the same time. I wanted to gather us together so we could talk about the new book, James’ different approach, and what this series has meant to us culturally since it was originally published,” said Riverdale Avenue Publisher Lori Perkins, who edited Fifty Writers on Fifty Shades of Grey for Ben Bella Books in 2013. The first panel and reading will take place on June 19th at People Lounge, 163 Allen Street, at 7:00 and will offer a raffle for a drawing of copies of Fifty Writers on Fifty Shades of Grey, as well as Riverdale Avenue Books’ titles 50 Shades of Pink, 50 Shades of Gay (#1 on Amazon’s Lesbian and Gay list when published), and The Secret Life of E.L. James, an unauthorized biography by NY Times best-selling author Marc Shapiro. Authors on the panel will include retired porn star Sinnamon Love, Pamela Madsen, attorney Sherri Donovan, former bookseller Stacy Agdern, erotic author DL King, literary agent Katherine Sands and Ms. Perkins, all of whom wrote essays for the Ben Bella anthology. A second panel and reading will take place at An Beal Bocht, 445 W. 238th street, on June 22nd, in Riverdale for fans who live in upper Manhattan, The Bronx, New Jersey and Westchester.
